During an experimental mishap involving theoretical particles, he was exposed to an unknown energy surge. This unforeseen event altered his physiology, resulting in an extraordinary skin condition. His epidermis transformed into shimmering diamond scales that constantly shed, providing him with an endless supply of diamonds.

Harnessing his newfound abilities, Dr. Taylor adopted the moniker “Cool Arrow.” His diamond skin rendered him virtually impervious to harm while allowing him to produce precious gems at will. Motivated by a sense of justice, he utilized his scientific knowledge and skill with gadgetry to combat crime.
